Guyanese-American writer, Shivani Jai’s debut novel, WHAT’S COMING TO YOU, is a dark, multi-POV psychological thriller that has captured the attention of readers for its twisty suspense and emotionally-charged storytelling.

WHAT’S COMING TO YOU dives into the duplicitous mind of Mason Goodridge, a dangerously charming narcissist whose lies and manipulations ensnare four women in his toxic orbit. When his seemingly perfect marriage ends in shocking tragedy, Mason scrambles to keep control, but as each woman inches closer to exposing the truth, the web he’s spun threatens to collapse around him with catastrophic consequences.

Born in Toronto to Guyanese parents and raised in the United States, Jai, a former Hollywood entertainment PR executive, now brings her storytelling skills to the world of publishing. Her debut novel represents a growing new wave of young Caribbean diaspora voices making their mark on the global literary and cultural landscape.

“I’ve spent my career crafting narratives for global entertainment brands, but writing my own story and sending it out into the world has been one of the most rewarding creative experiences of my life,” says Jai. “The reception to WHAT’S COMING TO YOU has been nothing short of incredible. I’m so excited to bring even more big, thrilling emotional stories to the page and beyond.”

Equal parts true-crime-inspired drama and slow-burn suspense, WHAT’S COMING TO YOU is perfect for fans of morally complex characters, intricate emotional thrillers, and stories that blur the lines between love and obsession.

The novel is now available in paperback and eBook via Amazon.
